The Bobcats try to bounce back from a tough double OT loss in Boston Wednesday as they host the Miami Heat tonight at 7:00 pm. Larry Brown gave the guys off practice Thursday in hopes of getting some fresh legs against a struggling Heat team that has lost two in a row, and is 3-7 in the last ten games.
Miami is in sixth place in the east at 39-36 and Charlotte is currently ninth, and 1.5 games out of the playoffs. A win tonight would put them a half game behind Chicago (36-40) at eighth, and one behind Detroit (36-39) at seventh.
The Bobcats come in this game as a four point favorite but you can never count out Dwayne Wade. The NBA’s leading scorer (29.8) has put up 22 and 41 in the Heat’s two victories, and 19 in one loss to the Bobcats this season.
Here are the starting line-ups for tonight’s game:
F J. Moon F G. Wallace
F U. Haslem F B. Diaw
C J. O’neal C E. Okafor
G D. Wade G R. Bell
G M. Chalmers G R. Felton
As part of the NBA’s Go Green week, Charlotte will be wearing green jerseys tonight and for Tuesdays home finale vs. Philadelphia.
